Day 1: Start your compact tour with a visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe the gentle giants in their natural habitat. If you wish, you can also bathe with them. The tour continues with a visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy. Fancy a traditional Kandy dance show? Go for it! You will spend the night at the Senani Hotel in Kandy. Fancy a sundowner in the evening?
Day 2: After breakfast, the tour continues. On the way, you will visit a tea factory. Learn more about the complicated production of tea here. A local guide will also explain the different categories of tea. The next stop is a waterfall before embarking on one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. From Nanu Oya to Ella. We always deliberately book third class. This is the only way to get into conversation with other guests and, if you're lucky, you can sit in the open door and enjoy the fantastic scenery at a whopping 20 km/h. When you arrive in Ella, your private driver will be waiting for you with your luggage. Today's section will end at the Hotel Peacock Reach in Tissamaharama. How about a dip in the pool? Enjoy your dinner at the Hotel Peacock Reach.
Day 3: It's time to get up early. Your private jeep will be waiting for you at the entrance gate just as Yala National Park opens. Your jeep driver will drive to the places where the wild animals are known to be at this time. He knows the park like the back of his hand. At the end of the safari, your private driver will be waiting for you. He will drive you to your booked connecting hotel. We recommend the Sayu Garden Hotel in Habaraduwa, not far from Galle.

Great organization. We had requested and then booked a short tour from/to our hotel in Talpe. With a German-speaking guide and our own car. Everything was perfectly organized. The tip to book the 8-hour safari was particularly helpful. While everyone else was driving out of the park, we were able to drive further in and really had a lot of animal sightings.
