General Terms and Conditions

Dear travelers,

We, SL Tours & Transports (PVT) LTD (hereinafter referred to as SLTT), would like to draw your attention to the following terms and conditions of your tour operator, SL Tours & Transports (PVT) LTD, c/o Sayu Garden Hotel, Lanumodara Road, 80630 Habaraduwa, Sri Lanka.

General Terms and Conditions

The general travel conditions are effectively agreed between you and SL Tours & Transports (PVT) LTD (hereinafter referred to as SLTT) at the time of booking and thus become part of your travel contract.

Bookings & Payments

All extras that are not included in the package services will be charged separately.
Submitting the booking form online does not guarantee the reservation. Once your form is submitted, it will be reviewed by one of our agents and you will receive information on the final booking. Reservations are prioritized in the order in which advance payments are received. To ensure that your reservation is confirmed for the desired date, we recommend that you make the prepayment as soon as possible. Before finalizing your reservation, you will be asked to make an advance payment of 20 % of the total package value. The balance must be paid no later than the start of the tour. For each payment made to us, we will issue an invoice as proof of payment.

Any damage or destruction of objects or equipment will be charged to the respective persons or the organization team.

Exclusion of liability for personal items
SLTT attaches great importance to the safety and well-being of its participants. However, we would like to expressly point out that we accept no liability for the loss of or damage to personal belongings, including electronic devices, jewelry and other valuables. We strongly discourage bringing high-value items, wearable devices and jewelry on our tours. Participants are encouraged to exercise caution and discretion when deciding what personal items to bring on our tours. In the event of loss of personal belongings, SLTT and its partners accept no liability. Participants are solely responsible for protecting their possessions. By participating in our activities, you acknowledge and agree that SLTT and its employees are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings and release us from any claims or liability related to such incidents.

SL Tours & Transports (PVT) LTD would like to point out that, according to the statutory provisions, there is no right of withdrawal for travel contracts, but only the statutory rights of withdrawal and termination, in particular the right of withdrawal.

Cancellation & Refund
At SLTT, we understand that plans can change. Our goal is to offer a fair and transparent cancellation policy to accommodate unforeseen circumstances while maintaining our commitment to quality service. Below you will find the details of our Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made 30 days or more before the first tour date:
A full refund will be issued.
Cancellations made between 29 and 20 days before the first tour date:
A refund of 50 % of the total cost of the tour will be granted.
Cancellations made less than 19 days before the tour date:
No refund will be issued.

Special conditions

Non-refundable advance payments:
Some tours require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. This will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

Force majeure:
In the event of natural disasters, political instability, pandemics or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Changes and rebookings

Changes made 30 days or more before the tour date:
Free of charge, subject to availability. Price differences of the service providers will be charged.

Changes made less than 29 days before the tour date:
A rebooking fee will be charged, subject to availability. Any fare differences must be paid.

No-show policy
Failure to appear at the agreed meeting point at the scheduled time will be considered a no-show and no refund will be given.

Refund process
All refunds will be processed within 14 working days of receipt of the cancellation request. Refunds will be made via the original payment method. How to cancel To cancel your booking, please contact our customer service team via the contact form. Please include your booking number, the name and start date of the first tour, and the reason for cancelation.
