Sri Lanka, an island paradise in the Indian Ocean, is known for its breathtaking natural beauty. On this short tour, we would like to show you some that will make the hearts of nature lovers and history buffs beat faster.

Day 1: We will pick you up at the airport or at your hotel. A guide and a driver will accompany you professionally. The road to Dambulla already leads through lush landscapes. The first stop is planned at the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple is one of the most impressive sights in Sri Lanka. These fascinating temple complexes, which are located in the rocks of the Dambulla hills, offer a unique insight into the religious and cultural history of the country. The cave temples consist of five main grottoes adorned with elaborate murals and over 150 Buddha statues.
The second stop on this short tour is Sigiriya. The majestic Lions Rock, also known as Sigiriya, is one of Sri Lanka's most famous landmarks and an unmissable destination for any traveler. This impressive rock fortress rises 200 meters above the surrounding landscape and offers not only breathtaking views but also a fascinating history. It is planned that a specially licensed Sigiriya guide will be waiting for you and will explore the rock together with you. Sigiriya was once the royal residence of King Kassapa and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its extraordinary frescoes and impressive architecture.
Together with a visit to the Dambulla cave temples, a visit to Lions Rock offers the opportunity to experience the rich culture and impressive natural landscapes of Sri Lanka to the full. Both places are a must for anyone who wants to discover the beauty and diversity of this fascinating country.
Today's stage ends at the Nice Place Hotel Dambulla. Enjoy your dinner. How about a sundowner at the bar or by the pool?

Day 2: After breakfast, your guide and driver will be waiting for you. Today's destination is the highlands. It goes up to 1800 meters. You will see a lot and there is plenty of time for individual stops.
The drive from Dambulla to Nuwara Eliya is a beautiful experience that reveals the beauty and diversity of Sri Lankan nature. The route stretches across picturesque landscapes characterized by lush tea plantations, majestic mountains and gushing waterfalls. During the journey, there is an opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking views of the central hills. It is planned to visit a waterfall and a tea plantation. If you feel like more stops: go ahead!
Our destination is the Oak Ray Hotel Nuwara Eliya. Your dinner awaits you here. But how about a dip in the pool first?

Day 3: To escape the heat a little, we recommend an early departure. The hotel will provide you with packed breakfasts. Today you will hike a natural beauty yourself instead of being shown one. It's off to Horton Plains. If you leave very early, you will have the chance to experience a very beautiful sunrise over the mountains.
The Horton Plains National Park, a unique highland ecosystem in Sri Lanka, offers an unforgettable hiking experience amidst lush vegetation and stunning landscapes. This hike stretches for about 9 kilometers and passes through fascinating flora and fauna that will delight botanists and nature lovers alike. It passes through dense cloud forests and vast grasslands. The silence of nature is only interrupted by the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. The highlight of your hike is the impressive view from "World's End". Here, the landscape plunges abruptly into the depths and offers you a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges. On a clear day, the view stretches to the horizon, making the hearts of nature lovers beat faster. This place is not only a photographic paradise, but also a place of tranquillity where you can enjoy the beauty of nature to the full.
